Geosig Inc. was founded in 1976 by Mr. Edwin Gaucher, Geoph, Ph.D. Mr. Gaucher received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in geophysics (gravimetry). He was one of the first to found and develop exploration geophysics in Quebec and instrumentation. Upon retiring, Mr. Gaucher handed over the company's reins to Mr. Bernard Granger, geologist, and his early partner Mr. Simon Tshimbalanga, ing. Geophysicist. Geosig has conducted ground and logging surveys across Canada and in several African countries. Geosig's head office is located in the National Capital of Quebec in Canada. For more than 47 years, Geosig has maintained a level of expertise and excellence unmatched across the country and with its new partnerships and its recent opening to international markets, its future seems marked out as a leader in terrestrial geophysics applied to mining exploration.
